Milestone review celebrates measurable improvements in energy savings, packaging, and production efficiency.
May 20 — Our company held the Phase 1 Results Review Meeting for our Lean Management Program, taking stock of progress, sharing hard-won experience, and recognizing outstanding teams — while reaffirming our commitment to deepening lean awareness and advancing our management transformation.
The meeting was led by Vice General Manager & Tech Company Chairman, Mr. Cai Zhuang, joined by our company’s leadership and management teams from all departments.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Cai acknowledged the strong results achieved in this first phase. He noted that with an increasingly competitive market, driving returns through better management and growth through lean practices is the essential path to high-quality development. “Lean improvement must not chase speed or quantity,” he stressed. “It demands steady, step-by-step progress — focusing on key priorities, tackling challenges one at a time, and continuously consolidating the foundations of our management.” He also emphasized the importance of empowering improvement with technology, deeply integrating lean management into daily operations, and using continuous improvement to drive cost reduction, quality enhancement, and efficiency gains — taking the company to a new level and opening a new chapter of growth.
The meeting featured a detailed review of overall project progress, with phase-by-phase reports on several key initiatives, including:
Backed by concrete data and real-world cases, the presentations gave a comprehensive picture of what Phase 1 has delivered in on-site efficiency, energy consumption reduction, cost control, and management upgrade. Project teams then took the stage in turn with their own PowerPoint reports, walking through the challenges they tackled, the implementation of improvement measures, quantified benefits, and their plans for the next phase.
The program’s invited lean management expert, Mr. Liu Lihu, recognized the achievements of the Phase 1 improvement projects and offered in-depth analysis of each department’s highlights, current gaps, and directions for further improvement — injecting strong momentum into the ongoing development of a professional, long-term lean management system.
